Episode 5 - Jim Rugg

(cover of the Street Angel collection by Jim Rugg)

Thien and Rina are back from their mini-break and APE 2008, the Alternative Press Expo! Listen to their thoughts on the show, especially a spirited debate on the debut of the much anticipated Kramers Ergot 7. We'll also talk new comics from Comics Relief and APE with our classy beat reporter Josh "Hey Buddy" Frankel. And last but not least, we have a fun engaging discussion with Jim Rugg, the talented artist of Street Angel and Afrodesiac, on his comics influences and his favorite comic finds.

Good show. You kids should nerd out more about superhero comics every week. Fuck art in the ear. You know most of your guests popped mad boners for mainstream stuff before they went underground. I like hearing about what OG comics inspired them in the first place. You should also post those recipes mentioned. I wish I was eating that chili right now!
